From 19 – 22 July 2018, Gaia was premiered at Bluedot Festival. Floating above the park next to Jodrell Bank deep space observatory, thousands of people came to gaze at the artwork as part of the festival. Many people lay beneath the Earth artwork to listen to the surround sound composition and bathe in its light.

“Its amazing to see just how much of our planet is water! The UK looks so insignificant” said Teresa.

Bluedot is an award-winning weekend of discovery at the grounds of the Jodrell Bank deep space observatory. Set against a backdrop of the iconic Lovell Telescope, Bluedot combines a truly stellar line-up of music with a ground-breaking programme of live science experiments, expert talks and immersive artworks.
