Presented for the Freedom Festival 2021, Gaia was on display at Hull Minster 20th August – 5th September.
Created from 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface the artwork provides the opportunity to see our planet, floating in three dimensions.
Working with The Woodland Trust, audiences experienced this amazing installation surrounded by trees, with a bespoke soundscape. Over 1000 small trees were being given away for the public to take home and plant and at the end of the festival the trees from within Hull Minster were planted across the region leaving a positive legacy.
